Getting her Vitamin C
I'll have to admit - limes aren't the most liked fruit. I'm not sure I even tasted a lime until I served my mission among the Hispanic people in Miami. There, I had a lot of dishes made with lime or even cooked in lime juice. Needless to say, I grew to love them, and I can now be seen sucking on a wedge. So perhaps, in some way, Alena acquired this liking from me. We went to a restaurant the other day and decided that we'd give her a lime wedge just for kicks. We figured she'd make some sort of cute face, and we were right:
But surprisingly, she went back for more. And more. Pretty soon, she had sucked out most of the juice.
So add limes to the long list of foods that Alena will eat. We have yet to find something she'll refuse more than 3 times. (that was the potato)

That's great! The lime is too inviting... I like the lip smacking after each go at it.
I enjoy lime on my Mexican food, but I don't think I could get my kids to eat one! That was a fun video to watch!
What restaurant was it? She's pretty funny!
The restaurant we're at is the Nauvoo Café at the Joseph Smith Memorial Building. (which was pretty good) When I was getting a wedge of lime for my water, I figured that Alena might like one too. So I got her one.
Was the lime free? That would have made it even better...
Oh yeah, the lime was free. They were just sitting in a bowl next to the water, so I figured she deserved a new toy to play with. I know, we spoil her rotten.
